ELKHART, Ind. (Mennonite Church USA) — Mennonite Church USA has named the worship planning committee for the Follow Jesus ‘25 biennial convention, which will take place at the Koury Convention Center in Greensboro, North Carolina, July 8-12, 2025. The committee, made up of Will Eichelberger, Abby Endashaw, Randall Koehler, Ryan Rohrer, and worship leaders Melissa Florer-Bixler and Caleb McClendon, met for the first time last month to begin preparations for next year’s convention.
In the year leading up to convention, the worship planning committee meets regularly to discuss and organize convention’s daily worship sessions. Using this biennium’s theme, Follow Jesus, as their guide, the group will design each day’s worship service by identifying the daily themes, Scriptures and worship speakers, as well as outlining any additional worship elements that will be included in the services.
Each member of the committee serves in a specific role. From leading the band, to heading up the committee, to ensuring the audio and visual elements run smoothly, everyone on the committee works together to make worship at convention a memorable event.
“I am excited to plan worship with this group of talented people! Each member brings unique experiences and skills with them, which should result in worship services in which people feel seen and loved by God,” said Rachel Ringenberg Miller, MC USA’s denominational minister of ministerial leadership and worship coordinator for Follow Jesus ‘25.
