Two alumni join AMBS staff

Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary (AMBS) recently announced the appointment of two alumni to key positions on staff.

ELKHART, Indiana (Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary) — Grant Miller, MDiv, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, began May 15, 2024, as half-time Development Associate for Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary (AMBS) in Elkhart, Indiana. 

In his new role, Miller is building relationships with donors, congregations and church conferences in certain regions of the United States. He will also work toward growing and diversifying the seminary’s donor base and increasing its endowment. […]


Naomi R. Wenger, MAR, MA, of Three Rivers, Michigan, has taken on the new role of Program Administrator for the Anabaptist Thriving Congregations Grant for Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary (AMBS) in Elkhart, Indiana. She began June 17, 2024.

Wenger will work with Malinda Elizabeth Berry, PhD, Director of AMBS’s Faith Formation Collaborative, to design a program to equip congregations in the U.S. and Canada to read and interpret both the Bible and their sociocultural context with the goal of connecting more authentically with their communities. The five-year project — titled “Anabaptist Thriving Congregations” — is funded by a grant from Lilly Endowment’s Thriving Congregations Initiative. […]
