Wondering about more internships? Let’s look at two more senior internships from this semester!
Katie Robeck worked with VU Event planning for her internship where she spent time working corporate events in Wichita where she learned the ins-and-outs of corporate events. She also had the opportunity to work multiple weddings where she was involved from setup to tear down. She enjoyed being able to work in a field she was interested in and learn about a different side of business!
Fortesa Hysenaj was at Tilmor Inc in Ohio where she was immersed into the realm of international sales and marketing. One memorable part of this internship was participating in a collaborative project with 7th-grade students from her former school. She also had the opportunity to work with Hesston Alumni Justin Steiner (’05) and Aaron Martin (’06) who work at Tilmor Inc. Overall she states that she really enjoyed her internship and was able to not only learn industry skills but also life skills and really appreciated how welcoming and helpful everyone at Tilmor Inc was!
